Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026
RallyRush ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit the store, contact us, or place an order.
Who controls your information
RallyRush is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
Business address: 11 The Poplars, Montague Road, Smethwick, B66 4PG Contact email: support@rallyrush.co.uk
Information we collect
- To fulfil your order: your name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number, and order/payment details (payment card details are handled directly by our payment provider — we don't store full card numbers).
- If you contact us: the details you provide in your message and any follow-up correspondence.
- If you opt in to marketing: your email address and your interactions with our marketing emails (opens/clicks), so we can send you offers and updates. We only email you for marketing purposes if you've actively opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- Automatically: device, browser, and usage information collected via cookies or similar technologies when you browse the store (see Cookies below).
How we use your information
- Process, pack, and ship your order
- Take payment and send order/delivery updates
- Respond to customer service enquiries and handle returns
- Send marketing emails — only if you've opted in
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- Meet our accounting, tax, and legal obligations
- Operate and improve the store
Legal bases (UK GDPR)
- Contract — processing your order, arranging delivery
- Consent — marketing emails, non-essential cookies (withdrawable at any time)
- Legal obligation — tax and accounting records
- Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, keeping the store secure and running properly
Who we share information with
We share relevant information only where needed to run the store: Shopify (our ecommerce platform), our payment provider, our delivery carriers (Royal Mail and/or other couriers), and — only if you've opted in — our email marketing provider. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some of the providers above may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as required by UK GDPR.
Retention
We keep order and transaction records for as long as required by UK tax law (currently at least 6 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Other data is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the store (e.g. keeping items in your basket). With your consent, we may also use analytics and marketing cookies. You'll be asked to accept or manage these when you first visit the store, and you can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, to receive a copy of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, email support@rallyrush.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we handle your data.
Children
RallyRush is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page.
